What is your soul trying to tell you?
And if “soul” doesn’t quite land for you, feel free to replace it with a word that
does—intuition, inner knowing, your deeper self. What I mean is that part of you that exists
beneath the roles you play: not what you do for work, who you love or care for, or who
depends on you—just you.
When burnout shows up, it’s often trying to communicate something important. That
deeper part of you might be whispering—or yelling:
Whatever it feels like in your body or sounds like in your mind, one thing is certain:
The energy of what you truly long for is being held hostage by the fear of change.
And while change can feel scary and disruptive, it’s also the gateway to something
new—something better.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, depleted, and burned out, then yes—something needs to
shift. And that shift begins with you.
So often as women, when we start to feel drained, we double down. We give more to work,
to our families, to others’ needs, believing that if we just push a little harder, we’ll find
relief. But instead, we find more of the same—more exhaustion, more frustration, more
pain.
Burnout isn’t just the final crash. It’s all the signals that come before: the foggy brain, the
irritability, the lack of joy, the constant fatigue. These aren’t inconveniences to
ignore—they’re your body calling you home.
At some point, there’s a turning point. A moment where the fear of staying the same
becomes greater than the fear of change. And in that moment, you get to choose yourself.
So if you’re reaching your threshold, pause. Reflect.
Who would you be if you actually gave yourself the love, attention, and care that you so
freely give to others?
Burnout might feel like the end – but it could be the beginning of coming back to you.
If this speaks to you, I’d love to support you.
Burnout doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means something needs your care and attention.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
